I want to tell you…14 Republican women in Washington, DC. There was never a dull moment. There was never a spare moment…Four jam packed days of walking, talking, touring. What an educational experience, and what fun…so much fun, in fact, that a few of us accepted a special invitation from Pat Mica to return to DC to attend the Republican Congressional Spouses Club 50th Anniversary Luncheon, with honored guest speaker Mrs. Barbara Bush, First Lady of the United States, 1989-1993. The luncheon was held at the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel. A grand hotel, and a memorable event. |
